Responsibilities
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Handle large volumes of real-time data, ensuring efficient aggregation and responsive UI updates.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and other development teams.
- Take ownership of projects, propose solutions, and drive implementation with a proactive mindset.
- Address issues proactively, assist colleagues globally, and drive changes across teams.
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Familiarity with the .NET framework and with its extensions (RX)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
- The knack for writing clean, readable C# code
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Experience in performance optimization (memory and CPU) and use of profiling tools.
- Background in building real-time, high-throughput systems.
- Strong communication and analytical skills for requirements gathering and issue resolution.
