Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced OT, SCADA & AWS Architect to lead a strategic discovery and assessment of a complex cloud architecture for our client. This role involves reviewing the proposed Technolog Cloud Architecture, identifying gaps, validating design decisions, and supporting the client in negotiating and shaping the final architecture.
This is a senior, hands-on architectural role requiring deep expertise across Operational Technology (OT), SCADA ecosystems, and AWS cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a full discovery and assessment of the client’s proposed Technolog Cloud Architecture.
• Evaluate architectural decisions, integrations, data flows, and security posture across OT, SCADA, and AWS environments.
• Provide expert recommendations to optimise scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support the client in negotiating architectural changes with vendors and stake-holders.
• Produce high-quality architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across OT, cloud, security, and enterprise architecture domains.
Required Skills & Expertise
• 15+ years of experience in OT, SCADA, and cloud architecture roles.
• Deep understanding of SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and OT security considerations.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services including:
o Amazon Kinesis
o AWS IoT Core
o AWS Lambda
o AWS Cloud Architecture & multi-tenant environments
• Proven experience designing or reviewing large-scale, distributed cloud architectures.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
