We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer / UI Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver user-friendly, visually engaging, and scalable digital solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
This role involves working in Agile environments and contributing to cross-functional projects across design, development, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web interfaces and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams to gather and understand requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects such as system improvements, refactoring, and testing frameworks.
- Support UI/UX design flows, wireframes, and user journey improvements.
- Assist in data analytics, system integration, and standardisation initiatives.
- Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
- Support data mapping, system dependencies, and solution design activities.
- Identify, track, and help manage risks, issues, and project dependencies aligned with delivery roadmaps.
- Ensure designs and implementations meet quality, performance, and usability standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of system integration and data flows.
- Awareness of testing frameworks and software quality practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Web Design, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
