We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. INET Software is a growing technology and digital solutions company focused on delivering innovative software, AI-led, and business transformation services to clients across industries. We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales director to lead our revenue growth strategy, build strategic client relationships, and establish a strong market presence in the UK and international markets.
Role Overview
The Sales director will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales strategy, business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth for INET Software. This is a leadership role for a commercially driven professional who can build pipeline, close strategic deals, develop enterprise relationships, and create scalable sales processes from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in technology services / software sales / digital transformation / AI solutions / IT consulting, with the ability to engage CXOs, decision-makers, and enterprise stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with INET Software’s business goals
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across target industries
- Drive new business acquisition and expand revenue from existing accounts
- Own end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closure, and account growth
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Business Development
- Identify and develop new market opportunities in software services, AI solutions, digital transformation, and technology consulting
- Build strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel relationships to expand market reach
- Develop go-to-market plans for new offerings, services, and industry verticals
- Lead RFP / RFQ / proposal discussions with enterprise customers
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with C-level executives, founders, procurement teams, and business leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and aligning INET Software’s solutions accordingly
- Lead commercial discussions, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
- Work closely with delivery and leadership teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to execution
Team Building & Sales Operations
- Build, mentor, and scale the sales function as the business grows
- Establish sales processes, forecasting discipline, reporting structures, and CRM hygiene
- Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to improve conversion and win rates
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine strategy
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role such as VP Sales / Head of Sales / Sales Director / Business Development Director
- Strong background in software services, IT services, AI solutions, SaaS, digital transformation, or technology consulting sales
- Demonstrated success in building pipeline and closing mid-size to large enterprise deals
- Experience in selling to senior stakeholders including CXOs, Heads of Engineering, Digital Leaders, Procurement, and Business Heads
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, contract negotiation, and deal structuring
- Ability to work independently in a high-growth / entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in UK market sales and international business development is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network across enterprise, mid-market, or technology decision-makers in the UK / Europe
- Experience in AI-led transformation, product engineering, software development, cloud, or data/analytics services
- Ability to create sales frameworks and build teams from scratch
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling
